Keeping cozy during winter

Brrr… My sis and her family in Finland are having negative below zero freezing temperatures these days. Bro –in-law even posted on Facebook the thermometer displaying -27 degrees Celsius on the scale. Ugh. How ironic that where I am now, it is quite warm and I even need to use a cap or umbrella when I venture out into the hot sun outside.
I know my sis and her family are keeping themselves warm at home with the heater on and they also have a fireplace where they use some wood gathered beforehand. If you are used to a tropical environment, the weather in Finland is really too cold, but thankfully, my nephews and niece are quite accustomed to it, making it part of their life in Northern Europe.
