    A more lighted Christmas

    By RPG | January 8, 2014

Last Sunday, the celebration of the Solemnity of the Epiphany of Jesus, more known as the Feast of the Three Kings, was the last day of Christmas in the Philippines, the country said to have the longest Christmas Season in the whole world. Before this most popular and well-celebrated period, we had our Christmas shopping in preparation for the joyous occasion.

Most of our shopping though was for gifts, and not anymore for Christmas decorations as we have already all the decors for our usual Christmas tree, and those for our “belen” – the miniature of the birth of Jesus, complete with the main characters (aside from the Baby) of the blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and the three kings, not to mention the shepherds with their sheep.

What we bought then were LED multi-colored Christmas lights, in addition to the conventional tiny blinking bulbs decked on our Christmas tree, as well as the lighted star-shaped lanterns we hung outside our home. It’s giving us more joy to have these colorful lights added to our usual decors. We have also added a Christmas tree formed with led lights at our second floor terrace. What a delight to have a more lighted Christmas indeed!
