How do you make a sale if your prospect is the cynical type who’d readily make some negative comments about your product? I’ve no sales training or background, but I once joined a company selling high end products and the usual challenge I met would be prospects telling me that they don’t need the product I’m offering. Oh well, I did get a lot of rejections but it was worth it as I learned so much and I became more open to listening to others especially their ideas and goals in life. I also got some of my friends to buy the product and they too became my business associates.

What I’ve learned about selling is to believe in yourself and in your product. As our mentor tells us, you are not just selling the product, you are mainly selling yourself. If you are positive about what you represent and confident about yourself, your prospect will sense that and you gain their trust. Selling is an art and whether you’re selling some mid-rise condominium properties near the mall or offering term life at WholesaleInsurance.net, it’s essential to be creative and honest in your approach so your prospects would feel your sincerity and won’t feel like you’re just after their business.

Last night, my sis and her long time friends met at a mall and they had a great time exchanging updates about their lives. It was funny because they ended up brainstorming about recycling and having a garage sale and putting up a project for a cause. Well, that’s what you get when great minds convene, all these creative ideas would just come up.

Anyway, regarding recycling and waste management, it’s really good to do whatever way we can to help the environment. That’s why my sis will be gathering those electronic junk in our house–floppy disks, hard disk drives, ink cartridges, batteries and other unused stuff. This type of waste should not be thrown as ordinary trash as they’re considered as electronic waste and needed to be disposed accordingly. Otherwise, you’ll be polluting the environment with non-biodegradable waste.

Thus, if you have those empty ink cartridges from your Epson receipt printer or if you still have those damaged hard drives, better do a search of recycling programs within your area. Some of them even offer cash for your trash.

I haven’t been on the go lately, after giving birth few months ago. Thus, I’d sometimes wish I could have the time to be up on my feet and do some jogging or running around the park. Anyway, I’ve just read an article about running and it discussed that running without any shoes on, i.e. barefooted, is actually much better for the feet. Yup! The article says most runners with shoes land on their heels, this results to the weight not evenly distributed across the foot, thus causing stress injuries.

This reminds me of my sporty cousin who usually participates in marathons. I might as well convince her to be different and try running barefooted instead of wearing her trusted shoes. She usually rides her motorbike to work. Hmmm…can she run her way barefooted to work as well? LOL. Maybe, that would take her mind off from car insurance expenses or getting stuck in the traffic.

Last year my sis got something in the mail, it was a credit card specifically tailored for motorists. Getting fuel rebates via credit card was not really what my sis needed, but that card was her stepping stone to avail of another type of card from the same company which gives rewards or points for shopping. Those who are frequently on the road though could benefit from such credit cards which provide other motoring perks. Hmmm… motorists would surely love being given some roadside assistance, such as that of good sam motorhome towing, or other discounts and privileges exclusively for motorists.

What do men usually talk about when they group together? As a lady, I would oftentimes wonder about this, but sometimes I get the idea when hubby tells me about their conversations in the office or when he meets with his beer buddies.

While a group of ladies usually talk about relationships, family matters, and even politics, they would also include their personal interests and hobbies or whatever project it is they’re currently undertaking. Nope, women don’t only talk about the latest bags, shoes or fashionable items or trivial issues.

How is it with men? Basically their conversations are the same with the ladies, they only differ in their areas of interests, thus while the ladies prefer gabbing about comparing shoe brands, the guys could be talking about the latest football news or debating whether extenz is good for them or not. And who says guys don’t gossip? I’ve actually heard a guy telling his buddies about the love affairs of one of their friends, in a reporter-like fashion. Yup, he’s just too talkative for a guy.

The sense of urgency would always come up when there’s something due within a short period of time. For instance, deadlines to beat would make one skip unimportant stuff and focus on the job at hand.

Just like work targets, diet goals can sometimes become urgent deadlines when an important event needs one to look good, such as weddings or job interviews. I know of one bride-to-be who really went on a diet and exercise program just to look slim on her wedding day, and she did meet her goal. Unfortunately, after the wedding, her figure was back to being chubby and overweight again.

With a lot of diet products in the market today promising quick trim fast cleanse solutions, one’s diet goals might be achieved, although it’s important to use a product that’s totally safe and with no side effects, otherwise you’ll end up looking sick and unhealthy instead of glowing and confident on an important event.

Seeing my old friends and former classmates on Facebook made me realize a lot of things. After so many years, it’s surprising to see photos of friends who have increased in size (especially on the waistline), some have receding hairlines while others have darker complexion. Some of my friends still look young while others look older than their age. There are those who look like they need to diet or take fat burner pills, while some still maintain their sexy figures.

It’s also nice to read friends posting their ideas on Facebook, you can tell that they’re still the same person you know, and it’s just that they’ve become more sensible and mature. Yes, people do change, not just physically but mentally as well. And you can prove this when you check out your friends on Facebook.

In this age of sleek lightweight laptops, full-featured smartphones and the hottest gadgets and gizmos, people are not just keeping themselves up-to-date with the latest in technology. There’s also been a huge demand for beauty and wellness products, and of course, diet pills are everywhere. Yup, we’re becoming more beauty-conscious than ever, just imagine the abundance of antioxidant, anti-aging and whitening products in the market today.

When it comes to looking good, don’t fall prey to attractive promises of getting results in just few days. It’s always best to read reviews. For instance, if you’re looking for the best diet pill, do check out articles on lipozene or read up more details on apidexin and other diet solutions. Go for products that are safe and with no side effects. Ask for recommendations from trusted physicians as some products may be popular and in fashion but fail to deliver as promised.

One of the problems faced by most teenagers, aside from their piled up homeworks and assignments or socializing with peers, is having to deal with acne and facial blemishes. Most high school students and those in their early years in college are bothered with acne that they would resort to all sorts of facial ointments and acne solutions to get rid of the zits and to remove acne scars. Others seek professional help and have their faces treated by qualified dermatologists and skin doctors.

Having a clear and healthy-looking skin adds up to one’s confidence, thus it’s important for parents to consider the facial problems their teens are facing so they won’t be insecure about their looks. Teenage life can be challenging as this is the adolescent phase where one goes through a lot of physical changes, thus it’s important for teens to feel good and feel positive about themselves.
