It has probably been a decade or more since I last needed my resume to apply for work. Honestly speaking, I am satisfied with my occupation now. I am a full time mom but still I get to earn some money and it’s all up to me if I want to do it or not. I like the freedom it gives me and I like its flexibility. But I know that the path I chose to take isn’t for everyone. What I do won’t appeal to some people, so they need to have good work and character record in order to be employed in big companies. If they want a career in Atlanta, they’ll need to have good Atlanta resumes in order to be accepted in the competitive world of the labor force.

After two days of not deleting the comment spams in this blog, they’ve reached to a horrible number of 105! Duhhhh! I will have to delete them and that would be spending my precious time clicking on them one by one. And it’s not only this blog that’s suffering this spam attack. My two other blogs are in the same fate too. But it’s controllable there coz I logged in there daily.

Dang! My blog has been swamped with spams again! What do they get from it anyway? Most of the links they give out are pharmacy or health products. Geezzz… Don’t they get it? People hate spams! And they’ll only delete those once it reaches their inbox. I’d like to give spammers a treat so they can leave me alone. Vegas vacations might entice them and won’t bother me at all anymore. I hope so!

another girl’s best friend

Next week will be my girl’s birthday. I have already set a schedule and even have sent invitations to my friends. This weekend will be spent preparing for her party. I already have in mind what to buy for the food preparation, and I also want to buy her a nice, pretty dress to wear for her big day.

With all the party plans in place, what I’ll tackle next will be her gift. It’s not really difficult to figure out what gift to give to girls. It can be dolls, toys, dresses or a pink flat iron. Hmmm… That latter isn’t appropriate for her age yet. She’ll only be 1 year old that’s why and she also doesn’t have much hair! Hehe

Anyway, a pink flat iron could be a nice gift to your daughters, sisters, girl friends or even for yourself. My little girl hasn’t been sleeping in her crib for almost half a year already so we dumped most of her big toys there instead. Her blanket and crib bedding is neatly tucked inside the closet, only God knows when we’ll use it again. For sure it won’t be for this little girl anymore coz she’s growing big fast.

As I asked her, she just gave me an innocent wondering look. Cute!
