Those were some of the good memories I will cherish of my childhood years in our house. Unfortunately, these days we can’t have that same ambiance anymore. There are plenty of squatters camping right beside our lot, and they’re blocking the sea view. Also their noise would overpower the sounds of the waves. And we can’t stay in the balcony without them spying on us. Huh!Talk about lack of privacy.

I don’t know if there will ever come a time for us to enjoy again that old calming and soothing effect lounging in our balcony would do. ):

You may look dead, but I know you’re just waiting for time to wake up from your long rest. Spring is coming. Your happy days are coming too! You and your other friends will be merrily displaying your green dresses when the time comes. I can’t wait!!!

In the Philippines too, my sister told me that it’s been cold there lately.  That’s a nice break from all the hot weather they’re getting.  Hunter fans and aircondition units also take rest from being used and abused. That means good news for homeowners coz their electrical bills will surely go down. As for us here, the heaters are in full blast except for the dining room. But sometimes during the day, I turn it off especially when the room is not in use like the bedrooms. We even open the window for sometime to let the fresh air come in and to prevent molds from growing.

All I can say is, I’ve had enough of cold days…

Last weekend, we toured our friend at Pruhonice Park for some sightseeing. Of course, we brought with us the kids and had a really grand time.

Simply relaxing… isn’t it?

Families can also do their share of helping the environment by proper waste segregation, recycling and maintaining a clean surrounding. They can also employ modern methods of waste-handling such as using compost tumbler in their backyards. It’s also good to plant more trees and blooms, they not only provide us shade and a refreshing view but also help the environment as they give out oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide which is one of the major elements that contribute to the greenhouse effect.

What a nice place for relaxing!  It’s a perfect spot for a picnic with the family especially when the sun is out.  Just spread a cloth, take out the food from the picnic basket and sit or lie down while watching the kids play and run around. A good book for reading is also a good companion if you’re alone.  Or I can bring my notebook and work with my assignments under a shady tree.   How about catching up with other stuff like choosing cheap health insurance or studying my Czech lessons? Weeee! There are so many things I can do in the park aside from just relaxing.  How about you? What would you do in the park?

It’s summer still, but when we were in Stromovka Park yesterday, it was evident that the season is about to end. You can see the colors of the trees are slowly transforming to golden hues. Sigh… I will surely miss Prague summer when it’s gone.

Seeing a beauty such as the fuschia flower above makes me ask myself  “do I still want to look up on life insurance quotes online? ” Nature’s beauty has a way to make one forget about life’s realities.  The picture was taken by my sister when we had a relaxing weekend spent in a mountain resort. Even if our accommodation was modest, we still enjoyed our short stay there, surrounded with nature. The climate was cool; breathing the fresh and clean air of the mountain was really refreshing.  I’d love to get back there in the future.  I hope by then the management would have improved the park and repair their lodging rooms.
