bright indoor lighting

I like our indoor lighting to be white bright! In Europe, they mostly use the yellow light which really frustrates me because it doesn’t brighten the home as much as white light does. That’s why I asked hubby to buy the fluorescent light so our home doesn’t look gloomy at night. Now that it’s winter there when the days are shorter and nights are longer, it’s better to have this kind of indoor lighting coz it’s like day light inside. Bright lighting also helps to lift the mood, at least for me.

How do you want your bathroom lighting to be? Do you want it too bright or dim? Most people bring in their favorite magazines or books inside the bathroom; this needs a nice lighting that will provide them with enough brightness to read without straining their eyes.

How many kinds of bathroom lighting can one choose anyway? Would you believe there are actually plenty? Just look at the wall sconce on this elegant bathroom below. Who would have thought sconces will have a place in a bathroom.

Beautiful light fixtures! They’re great for interior decoration and also for providing illumination. Imagine life without light. Huhuhu.. Well our ancestors survived many centuries without the convenience we’re enjoying in this modern age; that is having electricity and electric light. But still, its nice to have bright surroundings that can even be equal to the brightness of daylight, because of light fixtures.

I haven’t had the chance to visit my favorite home depot yet. For the meantime, I can only browse online for different lighting fixtures. Wall sconce seems to be a nice fixture for our patio that’s being worked on now. It would add a nice homey touch and with their indirect lighting gives a relaxing effect. Playing with the digicam with the floor lamp on the left side of my table as the subject.

I’ve always hated its huge shade. Can you see how it’s blocking the mirror in front of it? I bet it’s time to look for some modern-style floor lamps that will be just enough to be squeezed in our space.

Why do we place it there anyway? Coz our room is already filled with tables, the baby’s crib and cabinets! And that is the only spot where we can place it, right in front of the mirror! But even when it looks awful, it serves its purpose of providing enough light in our room coz the desklamps/tablelamps we have aren’t sufficient.

We bought a new digital camera! We were playing with it, trying out its features if it’s really worth our money. We’re satisfied with the results.
