Yeah, I’m still deep into my preparation for our most-awaited trip back to my beloved and much-missed home country, and I can’t help but notice how I’ve “filled in” since I have last gone home. Naturally, as I have to go through the clothes I have to bring with me, and this means I have to include only the ones that fit me. I have then to plan how to be back to my previous figure, as I don’t want everybody back home to comment that I’ve “bloated”, though in a sense it’s true!

I’m sure there are many others like me who would want an instant weight loss result. Well, I bet they’re choosing over a lot of diet and weight loss options, reading apidexin reviews or asking recommendations from friends and even licensed physicians or trainors. As for me, maybe I could just do exercise? Hmmm… Wishful thinking again! Tee hee.

June is that time of the year again when weddings are aplenty! Lots of brides and grooms are scouring gift stores for unique wedding favors. As a bride once, I know how hard it is to look for these items. We all want to have the best for our wedding, so we definitely like something that’s special, something which our guests will like and appreciate. When we were planning for our wedding reception back then, I didn’t really want to cause extra hassle for ourselves, so we just took what the wedding favor our caterer offered to us to be included in the reception package. It all depends on the bride and groom how they want their wedding to be. If its a lavish one, then there are always wedding coordinators to help with planning every detail of the wedding. But whether it’s a simple or a grand wedding, the most important thing is that the couple is finally united in God’s grace as man and wife.

With the heart-breaking news from my friend just a few days ago, I try to while away and forget the sorrow so I won’t easily get affected by life’s sad events. I pity her, especially as grief like this easily makes one lose weight, don’t you think so? Well, for her anyway, her body frame is such that she wouldn’t need diets for quick weight loss to lessen her chubbiness.

So I console myself, trying to sugar-coat the situation for her. After all, it will benefit her figure, never mind the sorrow (joke only). This has to be accepted anyway, and she should move on. Life goes on, if only for the rest of the family, and society as a whole. Per Christian attitude: Death is the gateway to heaven, and we have to praise and thank God in all situations!

When I opened my email earlier, my heart beat fast upon seeing the subject “heartbreaking news”. It was from a friend here in Prague. As I quickly opened the mail, my thoughts were wondering what could have happened. It was a heartbreaking news indeed. Her father-in-law passed away this morning. Since he lives with them, he must have become close to my friend. I know that my friend’s daughter is very fond of her grandfather. I am sure she must be affected badly. I don’t even know how a four year old would take the news.

When I hear news like this, aside from feeling sympathetic to the concerned family, it makes me think if its good to look for cheap insurance, just in case something bad happens. Oh well…

With the Father’s Day only a month away, many people especially children are looking for unique gifts for father in stores. I think that for any occasion, the best gift would be something that a person can use. Gifts pertaining to that person’s hobbies or passion would really be much appreciated. Hand-made gifts are also very special. That’s what they call the labor of love. And lastly, the gift of time is something that can’t be bought nor can’t be made but still is a cherished and priceless gift of all. So this coming Father’s Day, let’s do something special for our dear dads. Let’s make them happy!

Yayay! Now what am I going to give or do for my dad? hehehe

Browsing the internet can sometimes lead me to interesting articles about celebrities, fashion, politics and even sexual enhancement product like extenze. While I am rocking my baby to sleep, I usually surf the net; reading on baby/kids’ articles. It helps me in my parenting and rearing my kids properly. Even if I have a baby book, I still find it convenient to look up on certain topics in the internet than flipping the pages of the book.

Now that my little one is already 3 months old, it promises more excitement and fun as he spends more time being awake, observing his surroundings, playing with toys and responding to our smile and talk. In fact, he likes it a lot when I talk to him. When he cries, I just go and talk to him and he calms down and reward me with cutey smiles. I remembered telling hubby before that one of my favorite stages of our first child was the 4th month coz she was just lying in her crib helpless and smiling at us.

Isn’t his smile irresistible?

A lot of high-end spending has been put on hold since the US economic crisis. But nowadays, the wealthy are spending again although cautiously this time, examining the best deals and value for their money. According to an article I’ve just read, high-end spending on luxury hotels, private jets, luxury sailboats and powerboats or precious jewelry are slowly coming back. I think the wealthy have now learned from the financial crisis and have become wiser about their purchases particularly with overspending.

Along with the basic goods, consumers are now spending their hard-earned salary mostly on beauty, health and wellness, from anti-aging creams to diet pills and food supplements. People are being careful with spending this time, focusing more on healthy living and having a stress-free lifestyle without breaking their bank accounts.

Being an adolescent is one of life’s transition phases, we see a person gradually change from being a cute sloppy kid to becoming a blooming teen. And these teenagers go through some challenges as well, as they seek their own identity, becoming more matured in the process. They may not worry about paying the bills or deciding about life insurance quotes, but one of their life challenges is acceptance among their peers. Thus, most teens worry about their physical appearance which is part of the biological changes they go through. Well, I’m not a teenager anymore, but I do have some happy memories about those years and it makes me smile to reminisce that phase of my life.

The atmosphere in our family these days is one of sadness. And it’s not just because of the Holy Week, but the sudden passing away of an extended family member. His death came as a shock as he was scheduled to return to his family that morning, but he was not able to wake up from his sleep. His companion who was supposed to drive him to the airport found him unconscious in his bed. So sad! May he rest in peace. I feel for his wife and son who were so excited to see him after being away from them for months.

How sad it is for families who experience sudden loss of their loved ones such as this. I don’t think they’d even have time to focus on their jobs or think about credit reports. May they find comfort and strength in the Lord in the presence and support of their family and loved ones who join them in their sorrow.

How do you make a sale if your prospect is the cynical type who’d readily make some negative comments about your product? I’ve no sales training or background, but I once joined a company selling high end products and the usual challenge I met would be prospects telling me that they don’t need the product I’m offering. Oh well, I did get a lot of rejections but it was worth it as I learned so much and I became more open to listening to others especially their ideas and goals in life. I also got some of my friends to buy the product and they too became my business associates.

What I’ve learned about selling is to believe in yourself and in your product. As our mentor tells us, you are not just selling the product, you are mainly selling yourself. If you are positive about what you represent and confident about yourself, your prospect will sense that and you gain their trust. Selling is an art and whether you’re selling some mid-rise condominium properties near the mall or offering term life at WholesaleInsurance.net, it’s essential to be creative and honest in your approach so your prospects would feel your sincerity and won’t feel like you’re just after their business.
