facebook partners with McAfee

Recently I saw a friend’s status in Facebook displaying some weird message. Two comments later came up and replied if the message was really written by her. Hmmm… I dunno if her account was hacked or what. Anyway, with millions of Facebook users, this social networking site is becoming popular not just with internet users but with hackers and those fond of creating cyber-mischief.
This is why Facebook decided to have partnership with internet security firm McAfee providing free virus protection to users. Thanks to Facebook for coming up with a way to ward off the bad guys of the Internet, cleaning up the site from viruses and malware just like a colon cleansing diet, right?
