watching an old film
By DGH | November 12, 2008
We just got back from a visit to my father-in-law. It was a little celebration for his and hubby’s name days that coincidentally fall on the first half of November. One interesting part of the night was a mini-film showing of hubby and his brother’s videos taken when they were still little boys (ages 6-8 maybe). The film was made using the 8mm camera. It felt like we were transported back in time of silent movies; what’s lacking was a home theater seating and a pack of popcorn to complete the mood. Anyway I enjoyed watching the skinny little boys playing, skiing, etc. and it’s a bit hard to imagine how they’ve grown up and become who they are today.
