the luxury of technology

It’s common these days to see teens and yuppies carrying iPods especially when you take the public transport. It’s a good way to spend time when riding to school, to home or to offices. You can choose your own music to listen to and not be at the mercy of the bus drivers’ music selection.
With the technology getting more advanced, I wonder how parents’ cope up with their children’s needs. They must be working hard to be able to give their kids the luxury of technology. Not everyone can afford iPods you know. An employee who receives minimum wage with lots of kids to feed and send to school can’t spend a fortune for an iPod. And if he can, he should be able to also provide the other kids with what they want, or else…
