light in the mirror

Playing with the digicam with the floor lamp on the left side of my table as the subject.
I’ve always hated its huge shade. Can you see how it’s blocking the mirror in front of it? I bet it’s time to look for some modern-style floor lamps that will be just enough to be squeezed in our space.
Why do we place it there anyway? Coz our room is already filled with tables, the baby’s crib and cabinets! And that is the only spot where we can place it, right in front of the mirror! But even when it looks awful, it serves its purpose of providing enough light in our room coz the desklamps/tablelamps we have aren’t sufficient.
